You can sleep in one of the self-contained heritage cottages, including the Council Chambers, The Lodge, Manager's House, Men's Kitchen, Farm House and the Stallion Box.
For your comfort you not only receive country breakfast ingredients, but you'll find the cottages include modern kitchens and bathrooms as well as complete bedding and towels. BBQ facilities available, or on request lunch and a 3 course evening meal prepared in the Homestead kitchen will be delivered straight to your cottage.
All our cottages and the stables have very efficient wood burning slow combustion fires and electric blankets for cold winter nights and ceiling fans for summer. Accommodation is complete with bedding, towels and breakfast provisions. Our cottages range in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms and have 1 to 3 bathrooms.

Visitors to the beautiful Clare Valley can visit Bungaree through an audio tour exploring the historic station complex, including the Station Store, Homestead Gardens, Church and Woolshed. As Bungaree is a working farm and can be closed for functions, it is essential to phone ahead to book your tour.
Bungaree Station is a beautiful rural property situated 140km from Adelaide in the Clare Valley. Established in 1841, it became the headquarters of an extensive sheep station with 100 thousand merino sheep by the 1880s. |
| It was like a small village, with its beautiful sandstone Homestead, Woolshed, Shearers Quarters, Stable Yard, Station Store, Managers House, staff cottages and even the District Council Chambers and a Church. Today, some 160 years later, it is an efficient mixed farm run by the descendents of the original founder, G.C. Hawker. Consequently Bungaree Station is not a museum, but rather a living record of rural Australia since 1841. |
