Bungaree Station Accommodation...

You can sleep in one of the self-contained heritage cottages, including the Council Chambers, The Lodge, Manager's House, Men's Kitchen, Farm House and the Stallion Box.

For your comfort you not only receive country breakfast ingredients, but you'll find the cottages include modern kitchens and bathrooms as well as complete bedding and towels. BBQ facilities available, or on request lunch and a 3 course evening meal prepared in the Homestead kitchen will be delivered straight to your cottage.

All our cottages and the stables have very efficient wood burning slow combustion fires and electric blankets for cold winter nights and ceiling fans for summer. Accommodation is complete with bedding, towels and breakfast provisions. Our cottages range in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms and have 1 to 3 bathrooms.

The station offers a better insight into the rural 19th century than any museum. Many of the buildings remain outwardly unchanged since the horse and buggy days and Bungaree is still run by the descendants of the founding Hawker family.

Historic Bungaree Station is essentially a village within a pastoral property, situated 140km north of Adelaide and 12km north of Clare in the famous Clare Valley wine district...the perfect retreat to spend a holiday away from it all.
