The cottage has a large bathroom with shower and toilet. Have an evening meal with the family (by arrangement) or alternatively, cook your own in the well equipped kitchen. Erldunda Station dates back to 1881 and is truly an outback working cattle station running Santa Gertrudis and Hereford Santa Gertrudis cross cattle, the majority for the export market through Darwin. Superb hospitality and excellent accommodation, home cooked meals and the opportunity to meet outback Australians. You may have the opportunity to view the School of the Air in operation (seasonal). Due to the nature of this vast operation, it may not be possible to view the cattle operations. Seasonally calves and cattle prepared for market may be seen around the homestead. Fly to Alice Springs or Uluru and then you can drive to Erldunda Station. It is an ideal stopping off point for travellers to Ayers Rock and The Olgas. Erldunda is halfway between Uluru and Alice Springs.
