Mansfield Cottage - The comfortable, traditional, 3 bedroom farmhouse cottage is located in the picturesque Barrington River Valley and just 150m from the Barrington River. Modern conveniences (sorry no dishwasher or clothes dryer), together with reverse cycle air-conditioning and slow combustion fire ensure your all season comfort. Just bring your own food and drinks, remember all linen, towels and even soap are provided - with our fully equipped kitchen and laundry, what could be easier. There is undercover parking and easy access for trailers and caravans. To ensure the comfort and pleasure of all, 'Mansfield' remains smoke free inside the cottage, no animals or pets and no motorbike riding.
'Mansfield' Barrington Country Holiday Experience...
The 'Mansfield' property has been owned and operated by four generations of the Perram Family, originally operating as a dairy and beef farm, from the 1800s. In September 2002, The 'Mansfield' Cottage was converted into holiday accommodation and enjoys a very successful role in the local tourism industry.
'Mansfield' is just 3 hours north of Sydney, 1½ hours north of Newcastle, all on tar sealed roads. 'Mansfield' is the gateway to the glorious untouched heartland of the Barrington Tops World Heritage Wilderness, just 30 minutes away. You will be enticed by the many delightful, self drive tours and hikes detailed at Mansfield.

| Your hosts, Rick and Jill Perram invite you to come and share the magic of 'Mansfield'. Booked guests at Mansfield Cottage have sole use of the cottage and surroundings. Families have a great time, with piano, TV room, games cupboard, table tennis, two large verandas, as well as access to the glorious Barrington Tops National Park. The Barrington River is well know for it's canoeing, swimming, fishing and tubing activities, as well as a great location for bird and fauna watching - seeking the shy and elusive platypus is very popular. |

Whilst in winter, if you are fortunate for the Tops to experience a winter snowfall, a trip to the Barrington Tops is just fantastic. There are many local events to enjoy including – Snowfest, Mountainman Triathlon, Sticks at the Saleyards and Shakespeare on Avon Festival. |
Also available locally is canoe hire, horse riding, picturesque cycling, golf, tennis and much, much more.
