Megalong Valley Cattery - Where cat care comes first!

Office Hours:
Mon to Sun - 9.00am to 12.30pm
Mon to Fri - 2pm to 4.00pm – by appt only
  • 20 x split level cat pens - living area, exercise area, litter tray area
  • 3 cat pens suitable for the mature cats
  • Each pen is equipped with a scratch post, bed with heated pads, litter tray, scoop, dust pan /brush and toys
  • 3 sizes of pens - single, double and family, all 2 metres deep
  • 4 internal play areas - equipped with toys and scratch posts
  • 7 external cat play areas - equipped with raised walk ways, tunnels, hammocks, houses and more
  • All food provided (except prescription diets)
  • Grooming and cuddles
  • Two isolation pens
  • Secure - double door system
  • Current vaccination certificate required
  • Cats are to be flea and worm free
  • Veterinarian on call
  • Pickup and delivery service available
  • Special rates for long-term boarders

Megalong Valley Cattery is situated on a working farm with sheep and chickens. The chickens particularly are in view of the cats. The Megalong Valley is a peaceful rural area with many farms and small tourist attractions and no busy roads or noise to disturb the cats. Megalong Valley Cattery is purpose built from our initial concept based on many years of cat rescue and fostering/boarding. Access to the cattery is by a triple door system so all areas are secure. We live on site and our house is no more than 20 metres from the cattery. Megalong Valley Cattery is just 25 minutes from Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, approximately a 2 hour drive from Sydney, 90 minutes from Penrith and 40 minutes from Lithgow.

Your cat's happiness and comfort whilst in our care is our prime concern. The cats will be made to feel at home and will look forward to their next holiday with us at Megalong Valley Cattery in the Blue Mountains!
