Bribie Island is situated 90km or 45 minutes drive north from Brisbane Airport and is connected to the mainland via a Bridge. Bellara is located on the Pumicestone Passage side of the island and 80% of Bribie Island is National Park. Brisbane and the airport are less than 70km to the south. The Caboolture Shire, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane offer an amazing diversity of experiences for adventure and relaxation. Bribie Island is in close vicinity to some amazing attractions. Bribie Island has plenty to see and do with stunning Moreton Bay on the doorstep. There's variety for any visitor on Bribie Island, come and see for yourself!
The Gums Anchorage has ideal accommodation from a relaxing weekend to a long term holiday. Every unit has wonderful views across the Pumicestone Passage with some also overlooking the expansive lawns and gardens around the large lagoon style pool with wading area. The ground floor units have terraces leading onto the lawns while the upper floors have large balconies, some with BBQs and outdoor furniture. The Gums Anchorage complex is fully fenced and each unit has its own laundry and lock-up garage. The complex was architecturally designed with allowances for natural airflow making the units comfortable all year round. The Sylvan Beach Foreshore has family friendly facilities including landscaped parks with children's playgrounds and BBQs.
